NHS provided foreclosure prevention counseling and loss-mitigation services to over 2,000 families and prevented 745 foreclosures. NHS prevented these foreclosures by negotiating loan modifications and other alternatives through HUD-certified housing counseling.
YOU BUILT COMMUNITY
NHS helped to stabilize neighborhoods by creating 150 new homeowners through lending, counseling and grant programs. NHS offers free comprehensive educational opportunities to grow the number of prospective homeowners in target neighborhoods.
