NHS Redevelopment Corporation (NHSRC), an NHS-affiliated nonprofit corporation, strengthens neighborhoods by developing properties throughout the City of Chicago. NHSRC stabilizes vacant properties, buys and redevelops houses, and builds new homes and facilities to support NHS's neighborhood revitalization efforts and to provide high-quality, affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income families.
NHSRC’s Real Estate Services encompass the following practice areas:
NHS RC builds new homes and rehabilitates single family homes (1-4 units) for sale to owner-occupants through our NeighborHomes program. Under this program NHSRC has rehabbed and sold more than 400 properties. If you are interested in purchasing a NeighorHomes home, please contact Rhonda Prichett, rprichett@nhschicago.org.
