For the past 35 years, NHS has partnered with a wide variety of community stakeholders to positively impact community reinvestment.  Key players in this partnership effort have included local financial institutions, insurance companies, community organizations, the City of Chicago, the City of Elgin, Kane County, and neighborhood residents themselves.  

 
These partners have helped NHS understand the points of view of different industries and the constraints they face, and have allowed NHS to promote an independent, community-focused agenda. NHS has informed its partners with first-hand knowledge of community needs and leveraged its relationships to launch high-impact initiatives, engage in creative solutions to problems, and increase the availability of good financing options for lower income homeowners.
