NeighborWorks Day Housing & Community Resource Fair - Saturday, June 2nd, 9 AM to 1 PM

On Saturday, June 2nd, Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago, Inc. will host its 25th annual series of NeighborWorks Day events in neighborhoods across the City of Chicago.  NeighborWorks Day is an annual event that brings community residents, non-profits, and corporate volunteers across the country together to work on neighborhood-based projects - from home repairs and block clean-ups to community gardens and educational events.  This year, NHS' North Lawndale office will be hosting a Housing and Community Resource Fair from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Chicago Park District facility at the Homan Square Community Center located at 3517 West Arthington Street. The event will feature a wide variety of housing, energy efficiency, gardening, and finance-related vendors, as well as a dozen topical workshops.
