Every year, NHS of Chicago holds a meeting to bring together stakeholders from across the private, public and nonproft sectors to promote cross-sector dialogue and learning.

These HOPI meetings serve as a valuable forum for knowledge exchange as experts across the industry discuss and collaborate on innovative solutions. Participants in these meetings include regulators, investors, lenders, servicers, housing counselors, and government and nonprofit officials.

Past speakers have included FDIC Chairman Shelia Bair, Mayor Richard M. Daley, and senior representatives from he American Securitization Forum, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and over 20 lending and servicing institutions. 

The next HOPI meeting is planned for fall 2010.
