JOHNNY PLACERES
Neighborhood Director
NHS of the Fox Valley
Johnny Placeres has served as Neighborhood Director for NHS of the Fox Valley since November 2007. Johnny came to NHS with broad experience in mortgage lending, banking and finance, including more than seven years as a financial planner. Prior to joining the NHS team, Johnny worked at Mid-America Bank and, in 2005 he volunteered as a member of the Loan Committee with NHS of Elgin. Johnny also served in the United States Army for six years.
An Elgin resident for over 35 years, Johnny is very involved in the community; he serves on the Board for Centro de Informacion, the Elgin Community Network (ECN), and the Puerto Rican Heritage Organization (PRHO), and served as the president of PRHO in 2009.
Johnny attended DeVry University for Telecommunications in 1998 and Harper College for his MCSE in 2001.
