Emilio joined NHS in March of 2005 as a Loan Originator for Neighborhood Lending Services, Inc. (NLS) – NHS’ licensed non-profit residential mortgage lending arm. Emilio was promoted to the position of Neighborhood Director of Back of the Yards/Garfield Boulevard NHS in February 2007. He oversees a bilingual staff who shares his commitment to helping community residents buy, fix, and keep their homes.
A lifelong resident of Chicago, Emilio brings with him 13 years of retail management experience that involved him in strategic planning, marketing, business development, and employee training. He has a background in real estate and is a licensed loan originator in the State of Illinois. Emilio serves as a member of the Advisory Board to the Office of Conciliation of the Archdiocese of Chicago, serves on the Holy Cross/Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Council and its housing committee, is a member of the Back of the Yards and New City Task Force where he serves in the capacity of Chairperson to the Housing Committee. He is a recipient of the Christi Fidelis Award from the Archdiocese of Chicago. Emilio attended the University of Illinois.
