Neighborhood Director Auburn Gresham

Lauren G. Lowery is Neighborhood Director at Neighborhood Housing Services – Auburn Gresham office. As director she is responsible for designing, evaluating and executing the NHS outreach strategy in Auburn Gresham. Duties include marketing, managing and reporting on the delivery of NHS lending, home ownership counseling and direct development services.

Throughout Ms. Lowery’s extensive and diverse 20 year career, she has been involved with the development and representation of retail and residential properties throughout the greater Chicagoland Area with an emphasis on Chicago’s Downtown and South Side communities. Additionally, she has negotiated development deals with some of Chicago’s most prominent real estate retailers including KinderCare Learning Centers, Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins and the former Shorebank. Ms. Lowery received her B.S. degree from Northwestern University and M.A. in Inner City Studies at Northeastern Illinois University Carruthers School. Lauren attended Lindblom Technical High School in Englewood, the best high school in the City of Chicago. Lauren is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and former member of the Metroboard, Chicago Urban League.
 

Before her position at NHS, Ms. Lowery was a Principal at FG Commercial, Finders Plus Real Estate and an associate at Matanky Realty Group where she managed a portfolio of more than 1.5 million square feet of retail space, and Draper and Kramer Incorporated, a leader in residential property management in Chicago.
